Why should I use doggy daycare?
Doggy daycare is a great way to keep dogs happy by eliminating boredom and providing a positive outlet for excess energy. It can potentially be a great way for dogs that have mild separation anxiety to spend their day. It is also great for young and old dogs who need frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day.
With regular attendance your dog will stay sociable and active and in turn you will have a happy, calm dog at home. back to top
Can I just walk in with my dog or must I book in advance?
We ask 24 hours notice for daycare bookings. A 10$ fee will apply for last minute booking or walk-ins, if we're able to accomodate your resquest. This is to ensure we'll know how many dogs we will have in advance, as we do reach our capacity around once a week. back to top
Can I leave my dog with you for an hour while I am at an appointment?
Yes, we have an hourly drop in option that is available from 7AM-12PM. We also offer half day as well as full day prices. All walk-ins are subject to availability so it’s always best to book ahead of time. back to top
Can I see the facility?
Due to COVID-19 safety procedures, we are not offering tours of the facility. back to top
Are there multiple dog discounts?
Multi Dog discounts are available. Full price for first dog and 10% discount for subsequent dogs in the same household. back to top
Are vaccinations required?
Yes. We require all dogs be up-to-date with Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Rabies, and DPP. back to top
I have an older dog that is a bit impatient with young puppies; will that be a problem?
This is not a problem. We understand that puppies can sometimes be too rambunctious for some older and calmer dogs, we are able to separate dogs in to different playgroups if needed. Puppies and older dogs can be kept in separate areas. back to top
My dog is not very obedient once off leash. Will he get an outdoor time?
Yes, we have an outdoor area which is fully fenced (6 ft height), has dig-proof underground fencing, and is only accessible from inside the main building. We do not take dogs off the property. We have an XL sized doggy door, so dogs are free to go in and outside when they please. This means they can choose to play outside and practice good housetraining skills. back to top
My dog is not very social can I still bring him to doggy daycare?
Our daycare is very much a social environment - dogs are in a group of an average 11 to 13 dogs and spend the day together. If your dog does not enjoy the company of other dogs, they likely will not be a good fit for daycare. We are able to try and work with dogs who are shy and work on their confidence with other dogs. However, if your dog isn't enjoying daycare after a few trials, we will recommend another option, such as a dog walker or pet sitter.
Our goal is always to maintain our fun, safe and stable environment in our daycare, so we keep owners up to date on how their dog is doing, and if we have any concerns on behaviour. We do not accept dogs who are aggressive towards humans or other dogs. back to top
Can I get my dog groomed while at doggy day care?
Yes a grooming appointment can be made with the grooming salon during the day and you can drop off and pick up your dog from doggy day care as you normally would. back to top
I am going to be late picking up my dog; will this be a problem?
It is preferable that your dog is picked up by 5:45PM, however, we ask that all dogs be picked up by 6PM. A late fee of $10 per 15 minutes will be applied after that time. After 7PM the dog will be taken to an overnight facility at the owner’s expense. If you know in advance that you are going to be late, call us to discuss arrangements. back to top
